Wonderful book

1. What stood out for me most is how strong August was when people stared he just carried on. I would not be able to do that I will feel sick and start to feel bad. I really do think Auggie is a strong, kind, awesome boy and will always cheer you up. I think people shouldn't look on the out side of people but on the inside.


August will always be kind to you he's helpful and is always there when you need him. He helps anyone who is not feeling good or is just in a bad mood.

2. Every time i'm feeling bad let down I think of how hard it must be for kids like August and then I appreciate how lucky I am and then I feel better. You should never be mean or rude to anyone, If you don't have something nice to say to someone don't say anything.


3. Jack, I would really like to be friends with him, he seems like he is a nice, fun boy to hang out with. He always stuck up for August no matter what. If some was being mean to August, Jack would help him. He doesn't pretend to be nice to August he actually is a kind boy. He does not care how August looks.


That's why I would like to be friends with Jack. Also he seems like a cool friend to be with any way that's why Jack is my favorite character. I suggest you read the book it is very touching.

What we did last week was a terminology task, poetry writing, Blackout poetry, Imagery and self reflection task. Poetry is a poem that has depth and meaning to it. Some poems can rhyme some don't you can do what ever you want with poems. People write poems for different reasons some are explaining their life, or what they like, how they feel. We did a imagery task. The blackout poetry was my favorite because it was the most fun I had with all the tasks and my worst was the poetry writing because our group took forever to pick a topic. They poetry writing it took us 40 minuets to pick a topic. I felt fine performing in front of the other people. The new word I learned was stanza which means a group of lines forming the basic recurring metrical until in a poem.

My superhero task

In design and technology we did a superhero stop motion project.  My character's name is Slash. I did my project with Janu. My character has super strength, super speed and super reflexes. Slash has a side kick named Mr.Slobby. Mr.Slobby has laser eyes, super strength and can go invisible. The main colours we used is red and blue. We could have improved on molding him better.  This was a really fun task.

Every day life being poor

My name is Pamlomo and I'm going to tell you about me life. Every day of my life is torture my family is very poor and I live in a shack. When I wake up for school I'm very cold. I could hardly move. My school is 13km away from my house. My sister died from a bad group of Gangsters,it was dreadful. My whole family was crying for weeks. In our school we have one old book. We don't even have a library. We don't work inside a class we have tables outside. The only toilet we have is a porta potty. Our whole street only shares one. It doesn't even have a door. Our house is made from metal  so when it does rain it is really loud, I can't sleep. My grandad is blind and my granny died when I was born. All my clothes is one  old leather shirt and old baggy shorts. I think the government can help By building new homes with doors and bricks and help the very poor family's which have nothing.
